Privacy Policy

Effective October 22, 2026Last updated October 22, 2026Version 1

This Privacy Policy explains how Qleever collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you use qleever.com and the Qleever platform — as a customer, a service provider, a member of a Pro organization, or a job applicant.

This policy is written for Canadian privacy law, including British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where it applies, and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) for commercial electronic messages. It is intended to describe our practices accurately — where this policy and the law differ, the law prevails.

You can exercise most privacy rights directly through our Privacy Centre and your account settings — both are described below.

1. Accountability and contact

Qleever is responsible for personal information under our control. Privacy questions, requests and complaints can be submitted through the Privacy Centre, account settings, or the support address published on qleever.com. Requests through the Privacy Centre receive a tracking reference.

2. Personal information we collect

  • Account information — name, email address, phone number, and profile details you provide
  • Property and booking information — addresses you save, service requests, quotes, appointment details, access instructions you authorize, and notes or ReadyPlans you create
  • Provider information — business details, services, credentials and insurance documentation you submit for review, portfolio photos, rates and service areas
  • Organization information — Pro workspace data including properties, projects, tasks, documents and member details
  • Communications — messages on the platform, support tickets, complaint and dispute records
  • Payment and subscription information — plan selections and billing status (card details themselves are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us)
  • Technical information — sign-in records, device and browser information, and log data needed to operate and secure the service

3. Where it comes from

Most information comes directly from you — when you register, request a service, apply as a provider, or use workspace features. Some is generated by your use of the platform: booking records, message histories, and activity logs. Providers may also be the subject of reviews and job records created by customers.

4. Why we use it

  • To operate the platform — accounts, requests, quotes, bookings and confirmations
  • To coordinate services — matching requests with eligible providers and managing appointments
  • To review and maintain provider listings — credential and business review, marketplace integrity
  • To communicate with you — booking updates, responses, and service notifications
  • To handle billing — subscriptions, memberships and invoiced services
  • To operate disputes, complaints and safety processes
  • To meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations
  • To improve and secure the platform, including fraud and abuse prevention

5. Booking and property information

Service requests, property details and access instructions are used to arrange the work you ask for. Access information is shared only with the providers confirmed for your job, through the dedicated authorization flow — we do not display entry instructions in messages or on public pages.

ReadyPlans, notes and project records stay private to your account and, where you belong to an organization, are visible only within the workspace permissions you and your administrators set.

6. Provider and worker information

Provider applications, credentials and verification documents are used to review businesses before they appear in the directory and to keep listings accurate. Credential documents are visible to authorized review staff, not to the public.

Information about our directly engaged workforce — including scheduling and assignment records — is used to operate services and meet employment-related obligations, and is handled under the same privacy framework.

7. Payment information

Subscription and membership payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your card details go to Stripe — Qleever does not store your full card number. We receive and retain payment status, plan, and transaction references needed to operate billing and meet accounting obligations.

For marketplace jobs, providers bill customers directly — payment arrangements for that work are between you and the provider.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

Qleever uses first-party cookies required to operate the service — principally sign-in and session cookies that keep you logged in and keep the platform secure. We do not currently run third-party advertising trackers or cross-site behavioural analytics on the platform.

You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling session cookies will prevent sign-in.

9. Marketing communications

We send service-related messages your account needs — booking updates, quote notices, security alerts. Marketing messages, such as newsletters and promotions, are sent only where the law permits — with your consent or as allowed under CASL — and every marketing message includes a working unsubscribe. You can manage marketing preferences in account settings.

10. Sharing with service providers

When a provider is confirmed for your job, we share the information reasonably needed to perform it — typically your name, the service address, agreed scope and authorized access instructions. Providers may use your contact details for the booking they are assigned — not for unrelated marketing or any other purpose, and provider terms prohibit misuse.

11. Service vendors

We use a small number of vendors to run the platform — cloud hosting and database (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), and transactional email delivery (Resend). Vendors receive only the information needed to provide their service and are bound by their own security and privacy obligations. We do not sell personal information.

12. Storage and processing outside Canada

Our vendors may store or process information outside your province or outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We use contractual and organizational safeguards for information processed abroad, and we transfer only what the service requires.

13. Safeguards

We protect personal information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity — encrypted connections, access controls that restrict staff and workspace visibility to what a role requires, row-level database permissions, and session security. No method is perfectly secure; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as the law requires.

14. Retention

We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes it was collected — to operate your account, complete bookings, resolve disputes, and meet legal, accounting and safety obligations — after which it is deleted or de-identified. Booking, payment and acceptance records may be retained for the periods law requires even after an account closes.

15. Access and correction

You can review and correct most account information directly in account settings. For anything beyond that — including a copy of the personal information we hold about you — submit a request through the Privacy Centre. We respond within the time limits the law sets, subject to the limited exceptions the law allows.

17. Deletion requests

You can request deletion of your personal information through the Privacy Centre. We will delete or de-identify information unless we must retain it — for example, transaction records the law requires us to keep, records needed to complete an open dispute, or information another person’s rights depend on. Where we retain something, we will tell you the reason.

18. Privacy complaints

Raise privacy concerns through the Privacy Centre — select “privacy complaint” and your request is tracked with a reference. We investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the privacy regulator for your jurisdiction — in British Columbia, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner; federally, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

19. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform and the law evolve. Material changes are announced through the platform or by email before they take effect; the version that applied when information was collected governs that information until the new version takes effect.
